Rec Camp @ Lake Nasworthy

Eligibility:Active Duty, Reserves, Retiree, DoD Card Holders, & Veteran ID Cards.
Sponsors are responsible for the safety/conduct of all guests.

• Camp hours of operation are seasonal, for current hours, check the Hours at the top of this webpage
• Rec Camp Pool is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend unless otherwise specified, check out the Pools & Splash Pad page for hours.
• We Accept; Cash, Check, Mastercard, AMEX and Visa ($50 charge for returned checks)
• 10 MPH SPEED LIMITED throughout the Rec Camp at all times
• Alcohol is permitted for guests over 21
• Quiet hours are between 10pm and 6am
• Occupent’s are responsible for cleanliness of their assigned site.
• There are 3 dumpsters provided on site for all your housekeeping needs.

Pet Policy

• Pets are welcome and MUST have current vaccinations.
• Leashes are REQUIRED at all times and should be no longer than 10ft.
• Be Curtious and clean up after them
• Do NOT allow your pets to visit neighboring campsites without an invitaion.

Not Permitted

• Clothes lines
• Mats on the grass
• Objects in trees
• Glass containers of any kind

REGULATIONS:
Improper use, abuse or willful destruction of any facility, grounds, equipment, etc., may result in remocal from the park and possible punitive or disiplinary action.
In accordance with the City of San Angelo and Goodfellow AFB regs, there is no swimmin in Lake Nasworthly bordered by the Rec Camp.
Fireworks are prohibited. Campfires are prohibited, however a community fire ring is available. Please check with staff prior to use.

**Please note that Cabins do not have linens provided, you will need to provide your own when renting.

No propane or linens provided, All RV’s will be charged a refundable cleaning fee of $50.
We do provide water hose, sewer hose and a roadside safety kit.

The customers are responsible for refilling the tanks as necessary during the rental.

Other Fees

• Cleaning Deposit – $75 per resrvation, will be charged in advance and refunded if returned clean.
• Wastewater Dumping Fee – $50 if waste tanks are not returned empty.
• Pet Fee – $25, per pet, per resrvation.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older with a valid DoD ID and driver’s license to rent motorhomes.
• Payment is allowed in advance for the motorhomes. Motorhome contract must be filled out and returned before payment can be made and reservation can be finalized.
• Motorhome contract must be filled out and returned to ODR within 3 days of reservation, in order to secure reservation. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the reservation.
• Motorhome will have a 2-night minimum rental length on all Federal Holidays and weekends.
• Both the fuel tank and the propane tank will be issued out full and MUST be returned full. The customers are responsible for refilling the tanks as necessary during the rental.

• Rentals may be cancelled eight (8) or more days prior to the rental date with no penalty.
• If cancelled within seven (7) days of the rental date, the renter will be responsible for half (1/2) the daily rental.
• If cancelled within three (3) days of the rental date, renter will be responsible for a full days rental.
• If cancelled within 24 hours of the rental date, renter will be charged for the full reservation amount.

Renters of Goodfellow AFB motorized vessels:
*Must show proof of Boater’s Safety Course
*Have taken our boat check ride
*Must be an authorized user of FSS facilities
