Base Newcomer’s Orientation

Welcome to Goodfellow AFB!
This orientation welcomes newly arriving military members and spouses to Goodfellow and provides them with essential resources and support, offered by both government and local non-profit agencies.
As part of your in-processing, your Commander’s Support Staff (CSS) will schedule you for Base Newcomer’s Orientation. Base Newcomer’s Orientation is mandatory for permanent party active duty Air Force personnel and DoD civilian government employees; with spouses highly encouraged to attend. Newcomer’s Orientation is scheduled Wednesdays at the Powell Event Center, building #723, and runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Orientations are held once a month.
