17TRW Base Newcomer’s Orientation

This orientation welcomes newly arriving military & civilian members and spouses to Goodfellow and provides them with essential resources and support, offered by both government and local non-profit agencies.

As part of your in-processing, your Commander Section (CS) will schedule you for Base Newcomer’s Orientation.  Base Newcomer’s Orientation is mandatory for permanent party active duty Air Force personnel and DoD civilian government employees; with spouses highly encouraged to attend.

Newcomer’s Orientation is scheduled the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the M&FRC, building #145, and runs from 7:15 am to 4:00 pm – an Information Fair is offered from 11:20 am to 12:30 pm.  Orientations are held once a month (check with your CS for extra summertime orientations). SEATING IS LIMITED – Reservations are Required!
